Uno Langmann is Canada’s foremost specialist in North American and European paintings from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. Originally from Denmark, he has been a fixture of the local art and antiques community since he first went into business in 1968. Between 1979 and 1981 Uno Langmann established Sotheby Parke-Bernet in Vancouver, and became Sotheby’s sole representative in the Northwest. Uno Langmann has participated and vetted Fine Art and Antiques Fairs in Canada and the United States and is an expert on the CBC’s Canadian Antiques Roadshow. Uno is also well versed in antique furniture, silver and objets d’art.
In his 40th year in business, Uno Langmann was honoured to receive the 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award by the Art Dealer's Association of Canada.
Jeanette is a specialist in European Masters of the19th and early 20th centuries, as well as antique furniture, silver and objets d’art. She has 25 years of experience in her field; advising on appraisals and acquisitions for public institutions and private clients. Jeanette is the Past President of the Art Dealers Association of Canada and a board member of the Canadian Antique Dealers Association of Canada. She is an expert on CBC’s Canadian Antiques Roadshow and Vice-President of the South Granville Gallery Association.
Joanne is a graduate of the American Arts Program at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, New York with a specialization in American fine and decorative arts. Joanne is an executive member of the South Granville Gallery Association and past member of the organizing committee for the Canadian Art Foundation’s annual Vancouver Gallery Hop. She is a past board member of the Contemporary Art Society of Vancouver.
